Pastor McCrae

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area, Pastor Lamonte McCrae grew up with a God-fearing and prayerful mother and father. He graduated from Furman High School in 1993. During his high school enrollment, Pastor McCrae was a football player, track athlete, and singer. In addition, he was President of the Black Student Union.

In 1989, Pastor McCrae accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. Pastor McCrae later joined Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the excellent leadership of the late Pastor Morris L Davis. During his time at Mt. Zion, he served as a Sunday school teacher and secretary, choir director, drummer, lead singer, a member of the Junior Brotherhood, Junior Deacon, and Usher Board.

Under the leadership and training of Pastor Morris Davis, Pastor McCrae became a licensed minister on November 17, 1996. His ministry entailed preaching the Word of God at Watch Night Services, conducting funerals, anniversary programs, weddings, assisting with communion and baptisms.

Pastor McCrae is very passionate about helping children embrace Jesus Christ and becoming committed disciples for Him. As a youth minister at Mt. Zion, Pastor McCrae led youth worship services, coordinated, held offices, and preached at Youth Conferences. In addition, his outreach ministries included being a member of several gospel musical groups which performed all through California, ministering the Word of Christ to youth through song and dance.

Pastor McCrae continued the Lord's vision to reach people (young and old) throughout various cities and communities with the vision God gave him in Almighty Outreach Ministries.

On September 5, 2020, Pastor McCrae completed catechism and received his ordination certification by Pastor Charles Bostick of the Zion Hill Church Family based in Madera, CA. The next day on the 6th of September, Pastor McCrae became the Senior Pastor of New Transformation Church.

Pastor McCrae has dedicated his life to the service of God wherever he goes, touching the hearts of young people to give their lives to Jesus and reminding those who are already in Christ; to confess, believe, and act on the Word of God in their daily lives.
